This video is over 1 hour in length but very informational, and Stephen describes some of his previous experiences in the Private Equity business (as well as the basic principles of leverage). Stephen’s net worth is approximately $4 billion.

Pretty interesting video on how The Grateful Dead had a different business model compared to other bands at the time. High cost music production forced the band to focus on touring only and provide their recorded music free of charge, claiming 100% of touring revenue instead of a fraction of album sales.
